I did an upgrade, and it corrupted my hard disk so bad that I cannot even do
an "Archive & Install" of Mac OS X any more :-(

I'm pretty sure that this is not a hardware problem, but a bug in the Java
documentation postflight script (there were a lot of errors in the Installer
console concerning faulty rm commands). I checked the hard drive and
repaired permissions before install, everthing was ok. I installed Xcode 2.2
with *all* options selected, i.e. the Java documentation was installed over
an existing documentation.

So, be careful, and better do an uninstall first.

bye, Thomas
