There might be a way to change the key bindings, but I've never looked into it.


Thanks, but I do know about that. The behavior of tab indent in Visual Studio and Word is different, and since it doesn't require mashing modifier keys I'd like to use it if possible.

I've played around with a bit since, though, and I don't think it's possible.
