I would post a detailed list of what the changes were and what the
potentially unstable features were.  As a matter of fact we do that EVERY
time we post a beta build so that the testers know what was fixed from one
version to the next so they don't waste time testing stuff that is still
broken.

As yourself this: if I were head of Mac development for, oh, say, Adobe,
would I have been flamed for this?  Don't think so.
