As a matter of fact we do that EVERY time we post a beta build so that the testers know what was fixed from one version to the next so they don't waste time testing stuff that is still broken.

Well ok, I wasn't really commenting on notes for changes.

As yourself this: if I were head of Mac development for, oh, say, Adobe, would I have been flamed for this? Don't think so.

Compared to other folks inhabiting Apple lists, I don't have qualms about telling #1 exactly what's on my mind [1] so I would have told them that they shouldn't break NDAs and perhaps sued them. Especially if they were big business.

But I don't believe I was flaming here, just expressing the sentiment that if Apple provides an upgrade to Xcode so I can prepare for changes that will potentially affect me, and it comes with a few explicitly stated stipulations which I agree to by downloading the files, then I observe them.

OTOH, you could see things as a matter of mutual respect. That is, what if it was _your_ beta product?
