Something to try: create a new user account, login under it, and see if
Xcode's windows look any different.  If so, then there may be a per-user
account setting under your original account that's making Xcode 3.0 look
worse than it otherwise would.  If Xcode 3.0 looks the same under both
accounts, then it's bug-report time: I'd ask for a configurable margin,
maybe scalable, measured in ems.
