This was from a virgin Leopard/Xcode install. In addition I tried Shawn's suggestion to zap the personal files in the .xcodeproj.


If so, then there may be a per-user account setting under your original account that's making Xcode 3.0 look worse than it otherwise would. If Xcode 3.0 looks the same under both
accounts, then it's bug-report time: I'd ask for a configurable margin, maybe scalable, measured in ems.

pane.editor {margin-left:4px;}

That might be too much to ask. I was thinking of just requesting it follow the norm (and previous design).

BTW, if you still have my previous posts, which margin illustration comes closest to your setup?
