I never found that file, when I was looking for a solution, because I
don't think that way. I really hate "secret" files. There is
absolutely no good reason, in my opinion, to have a mechanism like that.
Now I have to decide if I should go back to my original user account
or just forge ahead.....

Kill that file -- it seems to pollute new projects. And then, in
each of your existing xcode projects, do a "Show Package Contents"
and kill the files that start with <username>.*. Xcode will
"virginize" them, I guess.
There's a lot to learn with the new Xcode, but having an implicit
Xcode 2 interface presented makes a lot of sense, and I understand
why it's being done this way. But I want to dive in and learn the
new stuff...
Perhaps it was somewhere in the release notes....

From my normal account, I'm seeing a toolbar like I had in Xcode
2. I've deleted my preferences, I've deleted the stuff in
AppSupport/Xcode. I see this ( which is my old Xcode 2 toolbar )
with empty new projects as well as old projects.

The new toolbar with two modes seems to make more sense with the
new "blending" of debugging and running, and I'm wondering what
gunk I've dragged with me across multiple Xcode updates, and how I
can clean up. Xcode 3 seems like a big step forward, but if it's
acting funny because of old pref data, I'd like to know how to
"virginize" it so I can move forward with the rest of you.
