In the ongoing thread that has likely given everyone a bad taste in
the mouth, I have an odd new datapoint. The strange behavior of crash
reporter *not* allowing me to catch the crash in gdb only is exhibited
by this single program. I was able to crash the flash plugin, and in
that instance crash reporter brought up the developer UI screen, and I
am able to debug that program.
So, is there some per-application preference, or other 'score' that
says, "after N crashes of a given program, I will stop asking the user
if they want to debug" ?
Hopefully I haven't alienated all you smart xcode users by now! If so,
let me offer you a chocolate brownie or maybe a swig of beer.
More data as I find it. Hopefully I will be able to answer this
question for others who run into this, and that they might forgive my
hasty remarks.
lalalalala have a nice dayyyyyy! Smile, Steve Loves You!
