File has been changed by another application

Hi,

About 3 million times a day (it may only be 2 million - I've not counted), when I save a file in Xcode I get an alert sheet saying:

This document's file has been changed by another application since you opened or saved it. ...

Needless to say, the file has not been changed, I suspect this has something to do with the project files being on an external NFS filesystem. Is there any way to turn off this message? Any way at all? Please?....

Jerry
