I'm wondering why you're using it on a share at all. Why not just use the network interface? (via the http:// or svn:// protocols) It's much safer and very easy to set up. Also, as others have mentioned the BDB format is not recommended nowadays. Just do an 'svnadmin dump' then 'svnadmin load' to recreate the repository in FSFS format.
