iPod Touch and Xcode question

  • Subject: iPod Touch and Xcode question
  • From: Dan Uff <email@hidden>

Please forgive me if this is the wrong area to post this in, but I have been working on this sucker for a week and am at my wits end....

I've been selected to participate in the iPhone/iPod Touch beta program. I have done all of the Certificate requirements, registered my device with Xcode and Apple, and other related stuff. I am now trying to put some sample Applications (directly from Apple) on my iPod Touch (running 2.0) for testing.

Each time I try to compile a sample with the Device|Release option, I keep getting this error:

X error: The file "iPhoneOSBundleResouceRules.plist" does not exist.

I am developing for the iPod Touch, do I need to install the OS 2.0 for the iPhone as well?

I am also extremely new to Xcode, so please be kind :-)

-Thanks,
Dan Uff
