The iPhone SDK is only supported on Intel based Macs. That is why it isn't finding the appropriate header files.

Hi all,

I recently downloaded the Beta 4 and I am having some problems.

After opening the .DMG, I noticed three entries, a "Readme", an "iPhone SDK", and "Packages". I installed the SDK no problem. I did notice that I had to manually install the Simulator platform from the "Packages" folder.

When I try to make the Simulator build SDK from XCode, it seems like all the include paths etc...are incorrect ("Can't find <Cocoa/Cocoa.h>" as well as other core headers) though these work fine for the MAC 10.5 SDK setting. I sifted around the project preferences but everything was identical as far as system and user paths go.

Are there other parts of the "Packages" dir that I need to install manually in order to get the Simulation builds to work?

This sucks but I am on an iMac G5 based on PPC.
Any help is appreciated.  The release notes don't really talk about installing Simulator-related packages.
Cheers,
Clancy
