This is something that has bugged me for a while with Xcode 3.
The toolbar button for activating/deactivating breakpoints always
shows the effect that clicking it will have, as opposed to the current
state of the setting. This always catches me out as I think
breakpoints are enabled when they are not and vice-versa. I think that
it should show the current state and not what it will become. If you
want some examples of similar buttons that behave sensibly:
In Mail, there is a 'Take all Accounts Offline' toolbar button. When
you are offline, the electricity bolt looks dimmed, whilst when you
are online, it has a glow.
In Xcode (at least be internally consistent). When you bring up the
Code Sense completion window, there is a little button in the bottom-
right corner that allows you to toggle between sorting alphabetically
or by Best-Guess. When you are sorting Alphabetically, it shows an 'A'
and when you are in best guess you get a '∏'
