Sorry, I misunderstood you.

I've spent an hour searching the documentation and Google for such a
requirement, and I've come up empty.

My two helper apps are both application packages, not pure executables, so
it doesn't feel right to put them in the MacOS folder. Unless somebody can
point me to guidelines from Apple, I'm going to leave them in the Resources
folder.
