Thanks - reinstalling 2.5 (even without an uninstall) fixed things. This was an early release of 2.5 (probably downloaded a day or two after the Leopard release) but wasn't in theory a pre-release. Anyway, I'm not sure what happened, but at least we're back up. After a release in a month or so I'll focus on getting up with 3.0.
