Having worked in large corporations, I can see the point from your
perspective.
That notwithstanding, we have a clear case of dilbertesque corporate
insanity here:
* The hurdle to download the iPhone SDK is low, I assume
intentionally. So everybody and his dog -- way beyond the "normal" OS
X developer community -- is downloading it. The distribution of the
SDK is rampant. Go to any Mac site, and find page after page of
discussion about it, including NDA'ed parts. The iPhone SDK is, de
facto, public information.
* O'Reilly is even publishing a book on programming the iPhone
already: http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/9780596519513/
Either, Apple sends C&D letters all over, or insisting that the iPhone
SDK is under NDA on this list is diluting the NDA itself.
To be quite honest: With books, websites, blogs and forums discussing
the iPhone SDK at _every_ level of detail, I feel old-fashioned and
almost stupid to consider myself bound by it.
Again, I understand your point, and I do not wish to step on anyone's
toes. But somebody needs to point out to Apple Legal that the
situation is inane
Just my € 0.02
