In my Xcode (3.1.3) this works by clicking the left-arrow right above the editor control. It only works if the definition is not in the current file, though. I'm pretty sure I didn't change any settings (or it was very long ago in which case I don't remember) for this to work (I'm using the Default layout).


Is this not what you're after?
