Should my code be concerned with the impact of jailbreaking. My app handles valuable digital assets and stores them in iPhone. Is it possible for the jailbreaking s/w to access my asset and do something illicit on it? Can an iPhone switch between normal mode and jailbroken mode, such that it can be a good citizen in one point and turn around being a bad one the next?

You can probably get better answers to this in the iPhone forums at http://devforums.apple.com . This Xcode mailing list doesn't deal with system architecture issues that much.
