It just works as with any other native Mac OS X program, so long as you
are running Java 1.4.1 Update 1. It doesn't work with java 1.3.1.
1. Turn on Accessibility with System Preferences/Universal
Access/Enable access to assistive devices.
2. Enable System Preferences/Speech/Spoken User Interface/Text under
the mouse
FYI, it also works with Speech Recognition. Java AWT in 1.4.1 works as
well; it's based upon Cocoa so the implementation gets everything
accessible for free. I don't believe this is the case on other
platforms that support java.

Good Day,
I have a Swing JApplet and a Mac OS X machine. Can someone tell me how
I
can make my machine read with voice a String in the applet or tell me
where I might find that info.
