iOS keyboards

I find the standard QWERTY iOS keyboard difficult to use mostly due to the size. I can get a bit more use from my iPad; however, I don't want to reinvent anything that Apple has planned for iOS 5.x.

I have a lot of ideas that i'd like to discuss off the list.
