NSSlider tick values

  • Subject: NSSlider tick values

Good morning,

I'm improving voice over integration in a Preferences window and I'm having difficulties setting the labels for the various tick marks of a NSSlider.

Currently when the user moves the slider Voice Over reads "38.5%" "50%", while it should read "2.0x magnification" and "2.5x magnification".

Can anybody provide a snippet of code to set the accessibility label of a NSSlider tick mark? Google searches came up pretty blank for this specific task.

Thanks!
