I also submitted this bug:
Bug ID# 12236397, 2012-09-05
Summary: The role-notifications element in the AccessibilityDefinitions.plist file is incomplete.
Steps to Reproduce: Open /System/Library/Accessibility/AccessibilityDefinitions.plist and expand the role-notifications listing.
Expected Results: The list of notifications associated with various accessibility roles is woefully incomplete.
Actual Results: The list of notifications associated with various accessibility roles should be completed.
Regression: This problem has existed since the AccessibilityDefinitions.plist file was introduced in OS X 10.7 Lion.
Notes: Keeping the AccessibilityDefinitions.plist file up to date with changes to the accessibility API is important and should be on your checklist for every new release of the operating system. I plan to rely on it in an upcoming version of my UI Browser product <http://pfiddlesoft/uibrowser>.
I previously submitted bugs for the missing kAXExtrasMenuBarAttribute and kAXIdentifierAttribute attributes.
