Webpage loading "clicking" feedback à la Safari?

  • Subject: Webpage loading "clicking" feedback à la Safari?

Hi,

is there any quick way on iOS to implement Safari-like feedback when loading a webpage, where Safari does a “clicking” sound repeatedly every second or so until the webpage is loaded? I tried moving VoiceOver cursor to a UIProgressBar displaying the progress (and even setting the UpdatesFrequently trait on it), but that does not have the desired effect (and Safari does not move VoiceOver cursor in any way in this situation), so is there a different solution than to implement it manually with an NSTimer and playing a sound every time interval tick (and making sure this is done only when VoiceOver is on)?

Thanks,
Boris
