I tried to post a question about accessibility on Apple's developer forums this morning, but the website consistently refused to accept the question until I took the word accessibility out of the title and the body of the post. An error message claimed my message contained illegal characters.
Has anybody else seen this? I did find that others have recently encountered the illegal character problem for questions that did not relate to accessibility, so the issue is more complex. But I was able to ask my question successfully when I removed the word accessibility but left everything else exactly as it was.
I am posting this here in the hope that an Apple accessibility engineer might see it and become motivated to contact the managers of the developer forums to look into this issue. I have filed a bug report with Apple, but I don't know how to reach the managers of the developer forums directly. |
