In addition to what Alex said, I have seen that focus is sometimes not set to a
text field even if „focus follows VO cursor“ is on. I have primarily observed
this in text fields on the web, but perhaps Xcode is affected, too. Interacting
or pressing VO+Space on that text field might be needed now, or this is a VO
bug in the High Sierra betas.
