I have searched but not found official documentation on what granular
unit is navigated by the swipe right (or left) gesture by iOS VoiceOver
within a body of text. The unit seems to vary depending on the type of
element or control: by line, by sentence, or by paragraph.
I have also not figured out the pattern of which navigation options
appear in the Rotor. Obviously, in a webview, options like headings or
links may appear that do not show within other control types. There
seems to be more differentiation than that, however, e.g., sometimes
navigating by line is an option but other times it is not.
Can anyone shed light on this? I would like an optimal set of
navigation choices to be available within a particular context of an
app, so understanding how VoiceOver treats different text-oriented
controls would be helpful.
