Hello.

An upgrade from Smile 1.7.2 to 1.7.5 is now available from T&B's site:

<http://www.tandb.com.au/smile/>

Here are excerpts from the Read Me.

-------------------------------------------------
Smile 1.7.5 introduces what might be the greatest time-saver for
AppleScripters.

The new "Post-Compiler" command will detect most - rather often, all - of
the programming errors, typos, omissions, present in a compiled script, and
that could otherwise result in unpredictible runtime errors or misbehaviors.

"Post-Compiler" has been designed after the results of a study about the
most common mistakes made by scripters. It may turn hours of debugging into
seconds, and you will soon be amazed to see to what extent "Post-Compiler"
can help you.

The new "Loop debugger" menu provides a handy and powerful control of the
loops debugged in a text window.

The new "List Scripting Additions" command will list the Scripting
Additions used by a given script. This allows, for instance, to port it
more safely to other machines or new OS's. Moreover, it will warn you
before you become victim of any dreadful scripting additions conflict.
-------------------------------------------------

Hope many of you will enjoy.

Best regards,
Emmanuel
