How would you set

"11/31/99" as date ? ? ?

Currently I get an error.

November has 30 days, hasn't it.

In 1999, yes. ;-)

So we have two problems: an invalid way of asking for an invalid date.

The valid way to ask is
date "11/31/99"
which rightly complains about the 31 (really it just complains about an
invalid date).

date "11/30/99"
is quite happy...producing a 64-bit number which is then decompiled as
date "Tuesday, November 30, 1999 0:00:00"
(on my machine...probably not on Emmanuel's or in fact most others--since I
use English but with the only sensible (ie, 24-hour) clock ;-) ).

middle Wednesday of {Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday}
--> Sunday

"Time" type field of FileMaker Pro can handle illegal time.
For example, "28:00" is accepted.

The date "11/31/99" will be "11/30/99" and over 24th hour.

"36:15:00 30/11/99" is equal to "12:15:00 31/11/99".
I suggest to handle and calculate these date and time data on FileMaker Pro.
