I have previously formatted a Quark 4.11 file. Using this file as a
master, i want to create a new file and get all the item parameters from
master and apply them to new page with new contents. Only the contents
are changing not the text boxes or pic boxes.
I can get every parameter one by one and apply them one by one to new
one but it looks very messy. I believe there is better way to do this.

Much of what you want can be done with a saved TEMPLATE file. That
will save document preferences, style sheets, a set of master pages,
H&J's etc. And it can hold NAMED boxes for your scripted import.
Have your script open the template file, and Quark will produce a new
"document 1", ready for your manipulations. Supply info to the named
boxes, massage as needed, and save under a new and more useful name.
I have used this approach for several thousands of pages over the
last 5-6 years, and it is extremely fast and helps guarantee
consistency much better than I could by hand.
If you have already tried this approach and it isn't doing what you
need, I think you may need to provide more details about what you
want to do, and possibly some code to look at.
