Hi all,
Our website has gotten a bit too big for manual maintenance. I tried the
automatic mirroring function of Anarchie and others, which works but is
way too slow for a site with over 7000 files.
I'm thinking about other options, using AppleScript. The best option
would seem to be finding all files within a root folder that were
modified after the last website update, and then scripting upload of only
those modified files. (Real mirroring takes too long because it checks
every file on the remote server).
Before I start looking into scripted uploads, I'd like to know if it's at
all possible to get the file list I need. 'Entire contents' is known to
be buggy, Sherlock is hardly scriptable and you can't edit its saved
search criteria as far as I can tell.
So: any ideas on how I can get a list of all 'modified since' files in a
huge folder and all its subfolders?
(In case there's a readymade utility that can do what I need, obviously
I'd love to hear about that too.)
Wim
