I think that's more a question for the list owner than for the
subscribers. I too find the digest format an utter mess, but I've now
written a script which reorganises it to my own preference when the
digest is received by Emailer. It's not an insurmountable problem -
although admittedly one I'd prefer not to have. I'm not too bothered
about the alphabetical nature of the issue numbers as the digests are
displayed in Emailer (and later written to file) in date order.
