There are several solutions that already exist to do this. Take a look at
the free achive scripts available on the Unofficial OE web page:

There's also a $25 shareware package called "Email Archiver" you can find on
<http://www.belimah.com/share/EmailArchiver1.8SDK.sit>. That's for the
standalone version, for which you do not need to own FileMaker. For the
(much smaller) FileMaker version for people who already own FMP, omit the
letters "SDK" before the ".sit" extension.
