Ah, so this is the source! It's only the third item of spam I've received
since I changed ISP's last year - and the first to slip past my Emailer
filter.

I don't know if "prevent" is quite the right word here. All a spammer has
to do is subscribe to the list and harvest the headers from the incoming
mail.
