It's a limitation in the current release of Entourage: you can't link to a
file by AppleScript. Even getting the links of an Entourage object gives you
an unusable reference for file links. I have been assured that that will be
fixed for the next release so that the file reference is an alias and it
will be settable (and I'll be in a position to make sure that that assurance
is not forgotten!)
