Well, I would have thought so, but in fact, even when I specified the
path to the v3 app, it still opened the v2 app. Completely bizarre. No
matter how much renaming and forcing the 'where is' dialog I did, it
always opened the v2 app.

Anyway, I've fixed it now. As mentioned before, it was due to an earlier
beta of the v3 app which was in the form of a package. I still don't
understand this weird behavior, but it's fixed now, so thanks anyway.
