There's an Apple Help item on Mac OS X that claims it is possible, without
qualification. But I've never been able to make it work with true scripting
additions.
It certainly does work with those items in the Scripting Additions folder
that are actually applications. Try 'tell application "Network Setup
Scripting"', for instance.
