Applescript and Other Scripting Languages

  • Subject: Applescript and Other Scripting Languages

I'm very curious as to how, if at all, AppleScript can interact or even call
to other scripts written in other languages. I'm very new to scripting, as
if you can't tell, but have a situation that's 90% solved except for one
little hiccup. I need to look up some information from the backend servers.
Right now, one is able to do so by using a web front end and an .asp script.
Is there anyway I can call to that script from an apple script? If not,
what if the backend script was written in another language?

Thanks for any help!!
