Obviously not! It was a simple illustration, easy for others to
replicate,
demonstrating that what works in a debugging tool may not necessarily hold
true for a script in the real world or even in Script Editor.

But you did get the point about consulting Script Editor. No point in
beating a script to death with a loaded Uzi (paraphrasing Larry Mar)
especially if you get it working in Scripter but find it makes no
difference in the script when it runs on its own.

When debugging anything in any language its always a good idea to ensure
that unexpected behavior is not a side effect of the tool you're using.
