The problem here is referring generically to a company like Adobe -- like
Apple, some groups there don't get it, but some certainly do.

The object model implementation in Illustrator, for instance, has few peers.
InDesign's has some quirks, but it's support is very, very broad. OTOH,
Adobe's other products' support varies from non-existent to dreadful.
Witness the recent Acrobat debacle.

Like the wonderful one in Word -- looks terrific, but is a work of almost
complete complete fantasy. Next to none of it works.

Again, some areas of MS -- well, the Outlook Express/Entourage people,
anyway -- get it, and others either don't at all or pay lip service.
