Sue Dumont, of the original AppleScript team, and Andy Bachorski, formerly of Apple DTS and who is lurking here in plain sight, are both currently employed by Adobe as part of a core technology scripting group. They're working toward the dream goal of making all Adobe applications be completely scriptable. Of course, since we can't announce any unannounced things here, we can't say what they might or might not be doing, but let's just say that the peerless Illustrator scripting mentioned earlier had their hands in it, as did Mr. Script Debugger himself, Mark Alldritt.
