George Mack asks ...
Does anybody know of a way to determine if a Quark page is a section
start?
I think you can _reasonably_ assume that, when cycling through all
the pages in a document, in ascending order, that the first page
where the page name and the page number are different -- is also the
start of a new section.
But somebody could have created additional section starts deeper in
the document with sequential page numbers, so that the page name and
number are the same at each of the new section starts. Only when the
previous section is renumbered will the problem show. So I'd use the
suggestion above only after temporarily renumbering the first section
with an unlikely starting number (say 207). This disparity will most
likely flush out section starts where page number and name _were_ the
same.
You'll need something like Prefab Player to script this unscriptable
part of QuarkXPress: Editing section.
