I've been using something very similar (with a few complications
because of the way I use it in combination with Conflict Catcher),
and it works reasonably well EXCEPT that Startup Disk never actually
changes the startup folder. It activates, and its window is often
drawn improperly--sometimes it seems to be windowshaded (but a few
pixels off), or it may appear as if it were vertically windowshaded.
I can always manage to correct the appearance of the window by
manually windowshading and re-expanding it or doing something else to
force it to redraw. But it never actually changes the startup system,
I always have to do that manually. Then I close Startup Disk and the
script continues to do what it's supposed to do. I have version 9.2.1
of Startup Disk. Any ideas what could be causing the problem?
Thanks,
Michael
