I use Geneva 9 as my desktop font because it has proper italics for aliases, unlike the more recent change to Geneva 10.

My only desire for icon limits is that I prefer another column when the icons approach half the screen height. ;)

It also doesn't seem to resize properly. I blame my full window. The new alias gets pushed into a 3rd column because the window is full. This script doesn't move that icon into the second column. You would need to extend the bottom of the window by a bit instead of zooming it and then setting the size.

That's my analysis also and explains why I haven't really tried to solve this. Nevertheless, people who don't know it can't be done have performed miracles before. ;)
