the reason for that particular error is that the syntax is "set the
clipbord to..." This is one of the cases, if not the only case, where
"the" is not optional.
Also, even with the "the", the line will copy the string "Macintosh
HD:My Picture" to the clipboard; if you want to copy the picture itself,
you will have to get the picture from inside an application, unless you
have an OSAX that can read the file directly.
