Two ways via OSAXen AFAIK:

Tanaka's OSAX 2.0
MT Store in Resource : Store object(data) in resource
MT Store in Resource anything -- Object (data)
to file specification -- Target File
ID small integer -- ID of resource
[name string] -- name for new resource

Weedhopper Commands : Commands to read and write resources, plus other good
stuff.
Copyright Weedhopper Press, 1998-9.
newResFile : creates a file with a resource fork
newResFile string -- name for the file
[creator type string] -- file's creator; default '????'
[file type string] -- file's type; default 'pref'
in folder file specification -- location for the file
Result : file specification -- the file newly created
