stationery and droplets

I've got a file marked as stationery. I drag it to an AppleScript droplet.
A copy of the stationery gets made and a object specifier for the copy is
sent to the droplet's open handler.

Anyone know of a way to prevent a copy being made and instead have an object
specifier for the original stationery file sent to the droplet?

- Olof
