Temporary items folder in OS 9.1

  • Subject: Temporary items folder in OS 9.1

I just moved a script, that has been working fine, from OS 9.0.4 to OS 9.1,
and got into trouble.

It seems that the folder "Temporary items" no longer exists in OS 9.1. Could
this be true? Or is the folder renamed, relocated, or trashed on system
startup?

I'm using Tanakas OSAX 2, and the trouble line is:

set TheFolders to (MT List Folders of disk TheCurrentdisk name contains
"Temporary Items" return as string)

In OS 9.0.4 I get a nice list of every folder (usually one only) that is
named "Temparary items". In OS 9.1 I get an empty list.

However, if I ask Finder in OS 9.1 about the location, with the line

get path to temporary items folder

Then the result is pointing to --> alias "PBG3 11GB:Temporary Items:"
But I can't locate that folder in reality, when looking for hidden folders
on that disk.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards, Adim Lundin
