I tested your script with both Script Editor and Script Debugger
2.0.5 with no problems. The image is placed in the picture box.
Quark 4.11, OS 9.1, AppleScript 1.6
Did you shut down and reboot after the crash?
Do you get the same problems with Script Editor?
Have you tried replacing your Script Debugger prefs file? (Trashing
and creating a new one)
