endemic out there now. And our user surveys indicated that about 80% of our

prefer HTML to straight text.
I think you'll find HTML is a generational thing on the net. The longer
you've been on the net, the less likely you'll want it. But: it's
mainstreamed, it's endemic, and the general population now is at the least
tolerant of it.
Now, having said that, we probably ought to take this off the list again
before chris notices and starts hitting me again...
