Ummm..., are you softening us up for the change, Chuq? Does this mean we'll
soon be able to post chevrons, not-equal-signs, continuation characters and
other non-/higher- (take your pick) ASCII characters without fear of
mangling? I recall that this was to be the medium of change, when the time
was right... Is the right time approaching, at last? (Side note: Entourage X
has bugs that mangle _different_ non-/higher- ASCIIs when sent in HTML but
not when sent in plain text. It doesn't look as if this is ever going to be
easy.)
